Who we are

WorldStar Yachting is an Athens-based charter company working across the Greek islands. We are a small team of sailors, skippers and shore staff, and we handle every charter from the first enquiry to the moment you hand back the keys.

How we work

We do not run a listings site. When you send an enquiry, a person reads it, checks real availability with the owners, and comes back with a short list of boats that actually suit your group rather than everything that happens to be free that week.

That means we sometimes tell people that the boat they asked about is the wrong one, or that the itinerary they have drawn up is too ambitious for the dates. It costs us the occasional booking and saves a lot of disappointed crews.

Our crews

Our skippers are licensed professionals who sail these waters year-round. Most have been working the same islands for a decade or more, which is the difference between a route that looks good on a chart and one that accounts for where the swell wraps around a headland in an afternoon breeze.

Safety and paperwork

Every yacht we charter carries full insurance, current certification and safety equipment inspected before the season. Crew lists, port clearances and marina bookings are handled by our office, so you deal with the sea and not with the harbourmaster.

Where we are based

Our office is in Athens, with charter bases at Alimos and Lavrio on the mainland and seasonal embarkation from Mykonos, Rhodes and Corfu. Transfers from the airport or port to your yacht can be arranged with the booking.
